About MPTMON Power Platform for Windows MppWin is the equivalent of his DOS predecessor – MPP, but is intended for a Win ‘95 or Windows NT OS environment. The program is a full 32 bit application and as such cannot run in a 16-bit environment such as Win3.x. MppWin allows the user to communicate using a TCP/IP (Telnet) or RS232 connection to various hosts such as the S12-MPTMON, S12-HILTI, S12-EPM or Vax. Supported terminal protocols are VT100, VT220 and MPTMON (sub/super set of VT100). Under Telnet, various Telnet options are also supported. Instead of being another terminal emulator program, MppWin32 is build for S12-MPTMON communication, more specific to translate the numerous bits and bytes being traced by the MPTMON facility.
